Unable to send email attachments using GWWA
with GW5.5. Tried the novell patch for
server in tid for Enterprise web server.
Running on a NW5 SP5 server, and I was able
to send attachments before. None of my
300 plus users can send any type of attachment except batch files. Using Internet Explorer 5x to send with.
Any ideas?

Novell's support site TID 10054065 :
Goal
Sending attachments times out.

Fact
Novell GroupWise 5.5
GroupWise Enhancement Pack Webaccess

Symptom
Trying to send attachments with the WebAccess fails. The server seems to be timing out whenever single attachments or when multiple attachments are selected to be sent. It is not only large attachments but all attachments and large message body messages.

Cause
NetWare 5.0 SP5 was applied to the server running webaccess.

Fix
Backing off the TCPIP.NLM to the SP4 code works around the problem. The TCPIP.NLM dated Apr 18, 2000 version 5.22j introduced the problem.

There is an update for the Netscape Enterprise Webserver which provides the best fix for this problem. The file name is NESN51.exe and can be obtained from Novell Technical Services.

Have a look on support.novell.com and get the TID mentioned in the top.
Lemme know if it worked

I have tried this one before, sorry if
I was unclear in my last post. When I
applied the patch you mentioned in TID 10054065 my server simply would not
load pages at all. Any other help is
greatly appreciated, and thanks for
answering my post.

One more thing, do you think it would
be an ok thing to replace the TCP/IP nlm
from 5 with the older 4 nlm? Or would
this even work?
