Excuse the lame question...
We are a small ISP that recently added a customer on our DSL.
They have a Novell server running Groupwise (uncertain of version). They can't seem to log into their old servers (on another ISP) coming from our IP block (nor can I). There is no firewall between them and the internet on our side, nor any restrictions in our gateway router.
They do have a SonicWall in front of their Novell, and I have told them they need to make sure no rules are blocking it.
They say they have checked.
I can ping the IP of the server, but I can not get a login window.
Is there anything in Groupwise that would restrict this?
Thanks for the help.

If you had specific error messages when they try to login to their GW PO, it would make it easier to troubleshoot. How are they trying to login to there e-mail accounts, with the GW client or through Web Access? Are they tring to login from outside of the company or from within the company? Need a little more info.
The only thing that comes to mind that deals with the Internet and could cause this type of problem is the "Inbound and Outbound" links that are on the GW Internet Gateway.

There is no error message. If we try to log on via the web... page can not be found. Telnet... can not be found.
They are loging in from outside the server IP block.
Are the "Inbound and Outbound" a software based firewall within GW? (Not at all familiar with it.)
Thanks

It doesn't sound like the GroupWise Internet Inbound & Outbound links are your problem. It sounds more like a firewall block of some type. You have lost Port 25 (SMTP), Port 80 (HTTP), and if your doing a default telnet Port 23 also. There is no central point on GroupWise to cause this type of problem. Especially when you say that you get a "Page not found" when trying to enter with GroupWise WebAccess. If you can't do a telnet to Port 25 on the Server running SMTP and get a response of "220 Server Name - SMTP" or something like that then there is definetly a block on somewhere. A Router, Switch, Firewall(Hardware and Software type). Thats about all I can give you on this. But knowing what I know, I would take GroupWise out of the picture for right now.
