Hey Guys,
Ok this may sound dumb but i forgot my password to Novell on my Laptop its a Toshiba TECRA8000 OS is Windows NT 4.0 Workstation is there anyway i can find out my password, or uninstall the novell netware from bootup my version of Novell is Novell Client v4.60.302 exact. Well if i can get help on this, this will be most appreciated :) :) :)

Another user with Netware Admin rights can change your Novell Password. If you forgot your NT password I beleive your out of Luck.

If it a novell 3.x there is some utility to change the password but for 4.x and up and never see anything who work for changing the password.

I recall reading somewhere about a way around NT passwords. This assumes that you have sufficient C: drive space.
Install another instance of NT. Log into the new instance. Delete the SAM file from the old installation. Copy the new SAM file to the old installation. Log into the old installation. After making sure everything works, you can delete the new installation.
I don't remember where I got this, and have never tried it. It might have been an email from techrepublic.com. Best to verify with experienced NT admins before trying this at home.
