Hi, I am using Novell Netware 3.12. I want to see details like : 1. hard disk capacity 2. display card make & details 3. network card make & details 4. hard disc capacity free & used 5. cpu type & board make all the above , i want to see without switching off the machine. is there any way to find these details w/o switching off the Novell machine? thanks in advance R. Inheriting a LAN will do this to you. Connect to the server using windows and then Map a drive to the root of all volumes the right click them to see size and free space. Add them up. Look in the Autoexec.ncf in sys:system to see load statement for the NIC, the driver name will more or less give the make of the card. Video card details cannot be seen without downing the server. Load install at the console (--its been a long time since I seen it so I do not recall the menu choices-- Be advised that I have seen on three occaisons that the server will go down, if it has not been downed say 3 months back, so be careful that no files are open). Now look for somethig that says netware volumes, partition hotfix etc and deduce from there.
