I have an old 3.12 system. I closed my business a couple of years ago and lost my passwords. I am finally getting around to selling my remaining inventory which is in a program that needs to run through this setup.

I used a disk editor to rename the NET$OBJ.SYS, NET$PROP.SYS, NET$VAL.SYS files all to .old from .sys. I don't think I changed anything else along the way.

Now when I boot up it gives me the "Duplicate File Names in the Same Directory - Volume Sys Not Mounted" error.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
