I dropped my 30 GB. It is a western Digital. now the HD does not want to work and makes a loud noice. I want to know of a way that i can get the info out. A company, serive, technique that will help me acomplish this is apreciated. keep in mind that i'm not talking about bad sectors or corrupt file system or anything like that.. I'm talking about possible physica damage.

Put it in plastic and make it watertight and then place in freezer overnight. Put in pc and if the drive spins (it may be, as there will be some contraction due to exposure to cold) then copy data to different PC. Its a bad situation you got yourself into.
