Hello Everyone,
The recomendation for the DOS partition on NW 6.0 is RAM + 200 MB. Now I tried but failed. Which version/distribution of DOS lets you create a DOS partion of 4.2 GB.

The intallation disk (which is bootable) lets you make this partition size. By the way, the only time you need "RAM + 200 MB" is for the memory dump when the server abends. This memory dump has to be send to Novell technision to analize, but I can't see you send an 4.2 GB file. I think that you can make a 500 MB dos partition and that's enough.
Thank you Shmuel Tropper for your reply. The CD-ROM I am using is Compaq SmartStart which inturn asks for the Netware CD to install DOS it follows the 2 GB limit. The only thing I did not try is to boot off the NW6 CD-ROM. But again I would not be able to load Compaq specific files at the outstart.
Has anyone done this (boot from NW6 CD-ROM) while installing on Compaq ML570 G3 hardware.
Thanks.
Jay

Again, making a dos partition over 500 MB is only for taking a memory dump to send to Novell for analizing a server abend. Anyway, take a good look at TID10084270. After installing the server follow on the procedure regarding drivers update as described at "Post NW6sp3 & NW51sp6 cpqacpi drivers - TID2966523" Good luck
