Disable the Downed Server Broadcast

OS: NetWare 6.0
CPU/Ram: 2x1.3 gig / 2gig

Does anyone know how to disable the broadcast "Notifying the system users that the file server is going down" when you Down a server? When we down non key servers to work on them, they notify everyone on the network they are going down, causing users to get all excited thinking their server is going down. Any way to disable that broadcast so we can down the servers silently? Thanks..

At the server console type set disable broadcast notifications process=on

This will disable all broadcast messages coming from the server. This setting does not require a reboot on the server.
