Comment:

I run a Novell 5 network with Windows XP clients and NDPS printing.

I use Deploy Centre to create and deploy images to suits of computers all over our school.

Three suites of computers are identical, so there is only one image, however each needs room has its own printer. I have included all three required printer on the image but need a way to delete two of them dependent on the PC's location.

I have written a java program that sets up the Machines name, location, and Network settings including IP but I cannot remove the printers. I have been looking at PRINTUI with no luck can anybody help me please??? I need to remove the printer objects locally.

The printers have the following naming profile:

NDPS_ROOMNAME_Laserjet_4500n

and XP reports the path as

PRINTER.Student_1.Marshland

The tree is called Marshland and the NDPS printer objects reside on a server called Student_1 in an OU called Student

Any help would be greatly received,

Thanks in advance Kris Dowse
