Comment:

I'm looking for some kind of utility or program or well anything that can help here.

I need to enter either a computer name or IP address and see which user (Novell, not local) is logged on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mark

1. From command prompt type SET and one thing you'll get is NWUSERNAME=
2. If you have ZenWork then you can go to the user object -> "properties" go to "ZenWorks" tab and in the "Logged in Workstations" you'll find what you're looking for.

zenworks can give you a history of who logged in to what computer. if you don't have that then nwadmin will give you the users ip addresses in their environment. i haven't been able to figure out how to export this info to so you can search the other way (the way you asked). So if you're tree is not large you could search each user... :p

just tried netwatch.exe like it.

ha, I got an alarm from it that our network hard drive space is over 80% full. OH NO.

it's got a free 30 day trial too. And novell recommended it.
