Dear all, I have a novell netware 4.11, it is installed by a software house. There is no problem before. But, since 1 month ago, i can't connecting my windws xp to Novell server. I have try to installing static tcpip at Novell server and i can ping from my winxp but i could not login to te novell server. Could any one help, what i have to do. I have make sure that ipx spx has already installed at my win xp. Thanks Best Regards Kholid

Make sure, that the IPX/SPX protocol is also running at the netware server. Type config at the servers console prompt, to check the network configuration. You should get a list of installed network cards and the assigned protocols and ip addresses. Are all volumes mounted correctly? If e.g. the volume sys is not mounted correctly, the configuration for the server could not be loaded complety and the server did not work properly. Check the SYS:ETC\CONSOLE.LOG file for errors. Try a DSREPAIR? Hmmm, that all for know. Post back the results. Paul
