Ok here's the story. I just got cable modem the other day and I want it to be wireless. Well I spent about an hour on the phone with the techingcal support (linksys) and we know whats wrong but don't know how to fix it. Ok you know how in the control panel you click on network connections and view the ones you have? Well for no reason my computer wont let me do that. On top of that it won't let me use the Add a network wizard. Every single link won't work at all. For no reason.
Its not that I don't have everything installed right. It's there. I just can't access it. I know that its there because I have a similar problem with my dial-up. My dial-up is there and it works, but I can't access it at all. The little identification balloon doesn't even pop up in the lower right of the taskbar.
According to technical support that is exactly where the wireless connection should show up. Either there or under network connections and it shows up in neither. And I need that so I can configure it to work properly.
And yes i have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything. But nothing. I just can't access it. Any ideas on how I can access it?

First off you are in the wrong forum.
But it sounds like you are not logged in as administrator and hence don't have rights to run these apps.

Be sure you ause the Administartor account then try to access the entwork settings if still you are not able then go to device manager (right click on mycomputer and properties then select Hardware tab)check your devices and if they are disable then enable them. In the case that they all are enable then remove(Uninstall) the network cards from the de device manager and then reboot system it will then reload all the hardware and renew drivers.
