Client 4.8 not using Policies properly?

Hi,
We are using Netware 5.1, NT4 Workstations with unattended Installation. Up to now Client 4.1 was installed with NT and later upgraded to 4.3 and 4.6 by Login Scripts. I am trying to install Client 4.8 right away (using NCIMAN's .inf files merged with unattended.txt). The installation itself runs fine, but the workstation does not get its assigned policies (roaming profiles with dynamic local user namely). I have already checked on the Workstation Registration and Import features, those seem to work. I am not quite sure which version of ZENWorks we are using here, zenver tells me: "Z.E.N.works Starter Pack Version 1.1 Copyright (c) 1998 Novell, Inc. All rights reserved." Could it be that we need to upgrade our ZENWorks in order to get it run? Or do i need to redo our policies?
