Change Admin Password

I'd like to change the admin password for our Netware 5, 6.4 network environment. But I didn't do the original install. I understand I can launch ConsoleOne and change the Admin password. However, unlike Microsoft you change the password and you’re done. How does that affect everything else? VPN, Groupwise, or any that was installed under the admin account?

Hi,
you can change the admin password in consoleone and you're done.
Only serives, where you have to give login informations (username and password) in configuration files, like GWIA, if you want gwia to authenticate to an SMTP AUTH account, are affected. But, this user, in normal cases, shouldn't be the admin.
So you don't get in trouble, changing the admin password.

You'll find some entries in the GWAUTH.CFG file which is stored in the gwia directory. But the admin always has to add entries manually to that file.
