Can't write to disk beyond 6 Gigab

I have netware 4.1 installed. I have the latest drivers loaded and my entire 250 Gb drive appears to be usable. However when I try to write/copy anything to the disk beyond 6 gigabytes I get disk full messages. Any ideas? thanks Hallo gute seite
