can't connect to server

i try to practise to novell exam but i have a problem. i installed a novel 6 server and client, and i cant connect to server. client dont see a server,tree. i can ping from xp to server. submask is the same 255.255.255.0 server ip adress 192.168.0.1, client ip adress 192.168.0.2. whats wrong? what i have to change in configuration to client see a server? i'd be greatful for any suggestions.

In Novell 6, if you have all components installed, the serevr takes up 3 or 4 ip addresses, so it would be 192.168.0.1 upto 192.168.0.3 try changing your client ip to 192.168.0.30 and then try to connect.
