Can you change a SID in XP???

I can't find any app that changes the SID in windows xp. I've tried newsid.exe and SIDchanger.exe. The result: CPU runs at 100% and then it eats all physical and virtual RAM, then dies

why do you need to change a SID? there shouldn't ever be a need to unless you're imaging PC's in which case you can just down them for a mini-install using sysprep and rip out the SIDs there.
