I'm trying to remove the client (4.11) from an end user's XP laptop so he can just log into XP and not the network. I know he can do so locally, but I'd like to remove the whole client. I see nothing in add/remove. Any help?

Yes!
With XP you double click on Networks in control panel. Go to properties. Novell Client for Windows is at the top. Highlight it and click uninstall.

In the novell directory you will find a admin directory, in there you will find the novell uninstall, I belive the method above will do what you what but I would not consider it a "clean" uninstall(sorry Rob) to remove the novell client completely you need to uninstall it. then you can delete the Novell Directory but I would leave it there just in case you wish to reinstall later.

I guess by now you've tried all of the above and none of the solutions have worked.

Here's how its done.
Right Click Network places and select properties.
Right click any connection in the resulting window and select properties.
Find NetWare client in the resulting list. Select it and click the uninstall button just below the list.
Reboot and you life will be handed back to you.

Sorry Rob
Sorry Peter.

No need to be sorry Noah. Hopefully we all check the ego's @ the door. If you answer a post and it contradicts someone else's post, so be it. People post here for the answer(s) that will correct their problem, the end. But I understand why you might feel the need for the "Sorry". To tell you the truth I probably would have done the same.
