Can someone please tell me how I can give a user the same rights as "admin" that is created during install on a Novell 4.11 network?

Can't do it during the install. you have to get the server up and the run netware administrator , create a user,and give then admin rights

Make the desired user a trustee of the ROOT object and give them Supervisor rights to it.
Or you could simply make them Security Equal to user Admin. However, if Admin user is ever deleted, etc. then then all users that were set in this manner now lose those rights gained from such an arrangement.

Create a GROUP assign the necessary rights to the group object. This way you won't have to make changes to users when you need to assign rights. To make things more secure you can block the browse rights to the group from everyone, this way users won't see the group, but admins will.
