I have added ten workstations running Windows 2000 Profesional to my network. How do I add these to the NW5 Server NDS Tree? Second.. How do I setup the policies on the server for these ten workstations?

You don't have to add workstations to NDS in the way you do for MS networking. Rather, you install the Novell Client (V 4.83 for Win2000) on the workstation. This allows user accounts to log in to NDS.
You may need to install Dynamic Local User (DLU) so that on Win2000, users do not need local accounts on all the workstations.
If you are running ZenWorks, then you create workstation objects in NDS via an automatic import process (AWI) after which you can apply workstation policies.
I suggest you visit http://www.novell.com/documentation-index/index.jsp and study the documentation for Netware5.1 and possibly Zenworks3.2.

Policies will require a full version Zenworks which will require a moderate fee. If you can get a workstation and configure the policies locally and when prefected clone it using ghost. The DLU is an option but tricky implement.
