Can anyone tell me how to add a printer to a server for access by Win95 clients on a NetWare 3.1 server, as I have never dealt with NetWare servers before.

There are 2 ways to make a printer available on a NW 3.x server. The first is to make it a remote printer by attaching it to a workstation and running a TSR on that workstation to make it available. This is not the most elegant, nor the easiest way to accomplish the task.

The second way is to buy a separate print server - a box or a card that plugs into a slot on the printer. Some printers come with a print server port. Once you attach the printer to the network, you can use either PCONSOLE or the manufacturer's utility to add the print server and print queue to the network for your users to access.

HP makes a great line of external print servers that can be used with non-HP printers and their JetAdmin utility works very well with NW 3.x.
