My wife works for a small business office (small being about 7 people). They need to replace an old computer with a new one and add the new computer to the network. Is this hard to do? They have asked me to do it. Does Win XP do everything for you? Do I just need to copy the IP address from the old computer? Do I need to install Novell on the new computer and use that? Please help.

You will need to install the Novell Client on the XP Box. The client should have a copy on the server. Depending on which version of Novell you have, will dictate which client to use. If the server is using IPX, you don't need the IP unless you are using Internet or Netware 6. Really need to get more specific on what Version Netware you are using.
