Can anyone tell me if this is possible with Novell Machines?? We currently have two servers, 4.11 SP9 and 5.1 SP1. Neither server will accept the 255.255.248.0 Subnet Mask with a 192.168.0.x address. I have been told it's impossible as well as there's some form of work around for it. I have tried manually editing the sys and cfg files as well as using INETCFG....and every single time I reboot the machine and run CONFIG, it keeps the 255 mask, not the 248. These two machines are the only ones in our school which currently are unable to be on the same mask as the rest. Ahh good ole Novell.
