Yahoo was working fine for a long time. One day, it stopped opening for me. Icon just kept spinning like it was going to open and never opened. I trashed all Yahoo files and tried to start fresh with new download. I dowloaded the Beta 3.0 version of Yahoo, but now it will not open. When I try to open, the Yahoo icon bounces once and closes. Can anyone help please???
Thank you.

Probably just corrupted, download it again and re-install

You gotta go deep. LOL.
Use App Zapper to REALLY uninstall that..uh..program.
There is a myth that gettn rid of a program is as easy as dragging it to the trash, well it is..kind of. Dragging an app to the trash only gets rid of all the files that live in that app container (OS X apps are really just fancy folders with libraries and small apps inside), the support files are everywhere and if there is an issue with the support files you could install that app forever and possibly run into the same issues over and over again. USe App Zapper or another OS X uninstaller app to completely get rid of the app and reinstall it. IF the issue happens again you gotta post up again.
