Now I'm confused. I have a Mac running OS X. The other day I received over 50 emails from the server saying "Found virus WORM_YAHA.G in file Wheredidmyfilesgo.mdb.pif The file is deleted." not to mention a few emails from myself to myself...?
I thought the Yaha was just a W32 Windows virus? That's all I've been able to find online---info on it's Windows infections and how to remove it from Windows. Is it possible to have it in OS X? I've looked for it and I've also run Norton many times and haven't found a thing. Of course, our college computer services are a joke, they know nothing about anything.
Does anyone have any clue about how I might have gotten a Yaha and what I can do to get rid of it? Thanks!

It *is* a Windoze-only virus.
The messages are from brain-dead e-mail filtering software that automatically (and incorrectly) assumes the reply-to address in the headers of the virus-infected e-mail is the true origin of the e-mail.
It never is, and filtering software that thinks it is should be destroyed.
You aren't infected, and you can't be. Tell the source of the messages to fix their software or quit e-mailing you, preferably both.
