I recently upgraded to MAC OS 10.4 Tiger, I am using Office for MAC version X. In word I am having an issue with saving documents to a Windows 2003 server that I have permissions to. The error msg. that I am getting is "Word cannot complete the save due to a file permissions error (document name) I can save excel and powerpoint files to the same folder on the Windows 2003 server without any problems.

If its any consolation, I'm getting exactly the same problem on a selection of Macs, all running OS X 10.4 and Office X.
A solution that fixed one of the Macs was to rerun "repair permissions" and then to download the Office Security update 10.1.6 available from http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx
But its obviously not the definitive answer as its not fixed the other ones.
