Ever since I got my MacMIni I've had to remove the 128bit
hex secuity password from my network to enable the Mac
to connect. I've just bought a new router, and would like
to reinstate a secured network. I can get the Mac to
connect, but only manually...i.e. by clicking the Airport
icon at the desktop and selecting the network name. What
I really want is for the connection to start automatically
when the Mac starts up, but no matter what settings I
change, the Internet Connection dialogue lists my network
as the defaiult, the networking dialogue has my network
as the one to automatically conect to, but it still won't do
it automatically at startup, as it used to with the 128bit
security password. I've tried using the Airport assist me
but it always lists my password as invalid because there's
no setting on that to change the password type to 128bit
hex. Can anyone help me??
