I have a PC running windows XP that can connect wirelessly to a wireless network at my parent's home. Is there any way to share that connection via ethernet with my PowerMac G4 running tiger?

I imagine that Internet Connection Sharing is involved and i already have acrossover cable, i turned on internet sharing for my wireless connection on my pc, but i still can't access the internet on the PowerMac, ANy ideas?

What on Earth are you talking about?

Do you live with your parents? Do you in close proximity to your parents? What's the deal here?

If you don't live with or near your parents, why on Earth would you want to have two computers sharing an Internet connection that belongs to your parents?

You mention a crossover cable, so I'm assuming that you do not want to run your PowerMac wirelessly. I'm assuming that your parents are using a wireless router to serve their own personal computer's internet needs.

Why don't you just plug your PowerMac into an ethernet port on the router? Why don't you just get a wireless ethernet card for your PowerMac? Or buy one of those cheap USB wireless ethernet gizmos?

If you're wanting to use your PC as an internet gateway for your PowerMac, I can't help you, cuz I don't know Jack about Windows or networking Windows.
