I have a Mac with built-in airport. I currently connect to the internet via the ethernet port on my Mac (which connects to my high-speed modem).
I'd like to purchase a Windows XP laptop with built-in wireless networking. Can anyone please advise whether it is possible (and simple), for me to connect to the internet from the XP laptop, via a wireless network?
ie: wirelessly connect to the Mac, and use the Mac's internet connection.
I'm a total novice at networking, relatively new to Mac, and haven't used wireless networks before. I've tried Googling for a simple step-by-step solution but without success. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I think you are better off getting the wireless router instead of trying to connect the xp through mac to get on line. you can shop around for lees than $50.
