First question is -- Why would you want to?

To answer your question -- Look at virtual PC

You are so funny
If its so much better than why are so many switching
why hasn't Microsoft finished Longhorn
Mac has revised 2 OSs since the announcement about
Longhorn

And don't get me started on the PC processor (what a
joke)

Ill answer it
because everyone remembers the debut of Win98
"oops let me restart that"

Hey hey...let's not turn this into a Mac v. PC thing :)

If kyle has needs to use Windows (many people do), don't bash him for it. Yeah kyle...check out the latest version of MS Virtual PC for Mac. The latest version is the fastest, so you'll probably want that. It runs any version on Windows on top of Mac OS. There is no way to remove the Mac OS completely from your Mac, however.

BTW Saverrio, just in case you hadn't noticed, MS dosen't release OSes every year. I'm not so sure I'd want to pay $120+ every year for a new OS (especially from MS). I say let them take their time with Longhorn and get it right for once.

Also, you statement about PC processors being weak is completely unfounded. Until the G5 came out, Apple had NO legetimate competitor to the Pentium 4, never mind the Xeon. The G4 and its pathetic 167MHz bus was slow. Really slow. The G5, however... now thats another story *resumes waiting for PowerBook G5* ;)

No, Virtual PC takes care of all the driver stuff. It runs Windows perfectly on Macs (with the exception of games).

I agree with Mike. Virtual PC is the way to go. I just
bought my mac, and love it, but put Virtual PC on for
when there are things THAT have to be done on a PC. for
the most part I can do everything that i need to on the
mac, but I'm a computer person not a XXX person. I hate
it when people start bashing people "o you use this you
use that."

I will have to say that if you want to use Virtual PC, you
want at least 512MB, but would reccommend 1GB or RAM,
as it runs slower, because you're running it on top of OSX,
so the mac is eating resources.

And to respond to the heckling by Savvarrioo or whatever
your name is, OSX is the first version of a mac operating
system i've ever wanted to touch, in fact liked it so much i
bought a mac. but before that, mac had nothing of
interest for me to convert or even use thier software. I've
played with every release of mac os since version 5, and
for me they finally got it right at OSX... Just my two
cents...
