Umm.... Are you referring to Mac OS X? If you are talking about anythign under X, then "window manager" is not the correct term. The "window manager" for Mac OS 9 and down is only a window manager in the way that the bitmaps that define what windows look like in Windows are part of a window manager. If you are running anything below X, you can get a program called Kaleidoscope, which completely skins any version of the Mac OS below X. I don't know of a skin program for X.

i'm on 9.1. i use the term "window manager" because i use Linux on my other computer. anyways, i've seen WindowMaker and Sawfish run on OS-X, so it could require a tidbit of hacking (most likely), but odds are it wouldn't be too big of a deal to change it in X. i can't run X here, because this is a 233MHz and it runs too slow and i can't stand it. thanks, though. who makes Kaleidoscope?
