All i wanted to know is that once i have burned my complex .dmg software file to a disc on Windows XP, will it autorun as it should on a Mac? I dont have a Mac, so obviously i cant test it, but by running the DVD in the drive on my XP i see the .dmg file there by itself. Will this be the same on Mac or will it properly autorun on a Mac?

If it's just a .dmg you have to open the cd the click on it for it to run.

Yes it will run on a mac no problem. It is just the same as downloading an .exe file on a Mac and burning it on a Mac and then running it on XP - they are compatible either way.
