CPU/Ram: 2.1ghz and 1gb ram

I have a Powerbook G4 and am buying an imac G5. I need
to be able to "clone" these two so that thay are identical.
This Will enable me to back up one computer to the other
and also be able to to have identical contents so that I can
use either computer and get the latest applications, files,
documents etc. I also want to back up to an external hard
drive.

Which backup software is best to link the three? Dantz
Retrospect or Intego Personal Back-up?

Any help appreciated

Phil
