Where is the Trash Folder in System

Comment:
I'm using system picker to switch between operating versions. System 8.1 does not want to start up probably because I put all extensions into the trash folder. I can't get back up to 8.1 with Disk First Aid probably because I only have version 7.2. So I need to know where the trash folder is located so I can access it from 7.5.5 and take the extensions out of trash in system 8.1 and put them back into the extensions folder. But I have no idea where the trash folder is located and can't find it with the Find command.

That's because it's invisible, but it's volume-related, not OS-related. Are the various OS versions on the same volume, or are they on different partitions or different physical drives?

The different operating systems are on different partitions on the same drive.

Grab something like ResEdit or anything else that can make invisible folders visible (check macupdate.com) and use that to make the folder at the root level of the 8.1 partition called "Trash" visible.

In the Future remember this whenever you toss anything in the trash and flush it (I.E.)deleat whats there you can get it all meraculously back by just hitting the off switc, befor shutdowning or re-booting. there is a little miracle application called "DeskZap" that allowes you to"See hidden files" change the document attributes, hidden, file type or creator it doesent work with exchanging some Dos document other than text files but everything mac will be easily converted so long as format attributes are the same.
