Hey, I have a little problem and I'd really like to get an answer: When I import my mgp- or mpeg-videos from my digital camera into Final Cut Pro og iMovie to edit it the sound isn't there. It all LOOKS fine but the audio isn't there no matter what I do. Why?

neither of those apps can handle 'muxed' mpegs..you have to separate the sound and video, and re-combine them in a different format, if you want to keep the sound..it's a pretty involved process..i haven't done it yet because the various 3rd party apps involved need OSX 10.2 and i only have 10.15..but you can find out more about it here... http://nzmac.com/index.php?option= com_content&task=view&id=205&itemid=90
