hi, i have some problems with the computer. i would like to format the HD. i was wondering what should i install after it, 10.3 or 10.4. my mac is a g4 quicksilver 733mhz with 768ram. i use it for work only. currently i'm using 10.4 i was thinking that if i will install it i will disable both spotlight and dashboard (since i don't use them). but maybe it will be better just to install 10.3? what would you reacomand doing...

10.3 is only for older macs where a G3 processor just can't deal with 10.4 properly. and 10.4 does work very very well. ok spotlight should be called "where are my files i can't find them"... but you can reset it in the Spotlight prefs. (search on web for this)
dashboard isn't enabled unless you click on it. and even then you can't do anything else until you disable it.
Repair permissions after each install (yeah, massive shag, but thats what you're supposed to do)
