What email sites work with the mail app in os x? I know hotmail.com doesn't. Are there any other free sites like hotmail.com that work with the mail app in os x? Thanks alot!

I would bet there aren't many free e-mail providers that still use POP3 mail service ("Post Office Protocol" used for non-web-based mail clients like Outlook Express, Mail, Eudora, etc.). Yahoo, Excite, and others, are either going under or moving to completely web-based solutions. It's all a marketing scheme.
So, if you do find a free POP3 provider, it's a good bet that they won't support it for long.
