I am having a problem with creating a website on my OS X Server 10.2.8 being seen on a PC side (internally) by the name it is saved as. I can see it on the mac side as 'eclipse.local'. on the PC side it is either just 'eclipse' or it is 'eclipse.company.local'. Is there someting I am doing wrong to allow the 'eclipse.local' to not bee seen by the others in the company? DNS services are not turned on in the mac server, but is on in the PC server. PC servers are the ones that control most of the company but there is some issues why we are trying the mac server.
Also, if the website is set up on the PC side, the web site is seen by the pc's but the macs have to connect to the IP address. WHAT GIVES???
