I have a website which on the splash page it uses a meta tag <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="3;url=[pagename].html">

to redirect the users to the next page I have received some emails from visitors to the website that when they open the splash page they say the page crashes and does not do anything. The meta tag waits for a few seconds and redirects the users to the main page
Would anyone know how if mac supports meta tags

It's up to the browser, not the OS or platform...mozilla and IE use the same commands on both PC and Mac platforms, and I've never had any problems at all with redirects on my Mac with either browser..
