Hey Guys!
I need to remove my HD from my G4 so that I can try it on a different computer to try and recover my data, but I don't know how to remove it! I know nothing of MACS! I have the side panel down and the connectors disconnected, but I don't know how to physically remove it. And I can't see any screws or anything. So if anyone has any suggestions I would forever be in your debt!!!

Remove the IDE ribbon cable from the hard drive and you will see a small screw securing the hard drive mount to the bottom of the case. Just remove the screw and pull out the hard drive mount.

And when you mount it as the second drive in another computer and cant get that computer to boot up you may want to change the jumper setting to SLAVE and try again.
