I have several videos on a site in Win Media and Real Player formats. I want to make sure Mac users can see these as well.

Can Mac users view these formats?

Macs canNOT read Windowsmedia Player 9 CODECs

Please make sure that it is encoded with V8 codecs
for us poor little mac users.

Real player should work with no problem

It is nice to see that somebody actually took the time to make sure before they released it.

Thank You

PC users can watch Macintosh QUICKTIME .mov movies.

Use that codec instead. All problems solved!

All of the Win Media versions are in V8. The Real versions are in RealVideo 9.

The problem I'm having with using .mov is file size. I can't seem to find a setting that works but I'm working on it.

Were you able to see the Win Media files?
