Hi
I have a few questions about editing videos. If I recorded a video with an NTSC DV camcorder and edit it on the iMac, is it possible to create a VCD out of it or do I need to record it in PAL. If created it, is there any problems in watching it in US or Pal countries?
Another question is, is it possible to join NTSC and PAL recording into a movie file and create a VCD out of it. As the FPS is not the same.

Toast can create VCD. You may have to try differnet brand CDR's or even CDRW's to get them to work in whatever unit you will play them on (DVD player). There are VCD players for mac as well (PC too I would imagine).
I don't know about the frame rate conversions for mixing PAL/NTSC.
