USB Printer on PowerMac 7500/100?

Comment:
Can a USB printer such as the HP 930c be used on a PowerMac 7500/100 which does not have a USB port? If not, is there an adapter to the ADB or SCSI port that will work?

You can obtain a USB card to fit in one of your PCI slots for as little as $35. I got one from ClubMac.com, and I am using my new USB keyboard and mouse to send you this message from my 7500. After you get a USB card, go to Apple's website and make sure you have the latest USB drivers.
Good luck!

I'm running OS version 7.6.1. on my Power Mac 7500/100. Any problems with this OS and the USB interface/HP 930c printer?
That OS isn't gonna make it for USB support. You'll need to upgrade to at least 8.6 I'm afraid. I'm helping a friend right now wit this same issue and lemme tell you, back up first and check your major apps for compatibility. Most likely you'd be going to OS 9, which can be a trying upgrade depending on the printer driver and app versions you now run. Good luck!
