On its website HP indicates that it's not supporting non-Windows connection to its USB HP LaserJet 1000 personal printer. Does it mean that the printer is not Mac compatible even though USB port should work with both types of OSes?

If HP won't support it, making it work will probably be more trouble than it's worth.
Spend the extra $50 or so and get a good printer that works with *any* computer.

I have a printer prob as well, but my probs pretty differn't I'm just putting here cause it's a printer prob aswell!, I have a non-mac cannon bjc-80,with no usb plug built in,but I have a belkin usb to parallel plug powerprint 5.0,and although powerprint claims my printer is now supported no matter what I do it won't print to it,also I know my plug is fine cause in vpc I can print no prob!. I've also selected it from my os 9.2.2 chooser, verified my usb printer settings are fine, and tried with background printing on and off!,any suggestions?
Summary: I'm needing to add a USB device (All-in-one scanner/printer/fax)to my mac. I do have several extra PCI slots and would like to know where I can get a USB card for a Mac. Thanks, Bruce...
