To uninstall on a Mac, you can just trash the app, but that leaves whatever was added to the system folder and so on. Every application i've ever installed or downloaded has a read me file. many times this file will tell you what was installed with the program, so you can go about trashing those. also, every installation creates an installer log file that lets you know what comes with a program. Trash what's exclusive to the program you want to get rid of. Finally, some programs come with an uninstall as an option of the installation software. I'd check this first forthe easiest solution.

Thanx jamey ,
just one more question. Is there any specific place where installer log is?? I mean is it in application directory or somewhere in system folder.
And by trashing application do you mean trash the whole folder or just drag application to trash and OS will do the rest or...

Thanx again
Alex

There's a shareware program called Yank that
will search out and trash files associated
with any application you designate, including
those pesky Preference files that have a
tendency to proliferate. You should be able
to get the program at shareware.com or
download

I am trying to uninstall the NetWare client from a MAC machine. My question is: if I trash all the related folders and such, will that also remove the icon that sits in the Title bar that lets you log into NetWare? If not, how do I remove all remnants of the NetWare client?
