I really don't know my way around macs but I'm trying to learn. I was given a powerbook 190cs and there are a bunch of programs I want to get rid of but I don't know how to do it. Can someone point the way?
File Find (cmd F) type the program name and trash everythings related: program, extensions, alias.

Find file may not find it all, depending on what sorts of names the app gives pref files, temp files, etc. Better to get a program called "Spring cleaning" by Alladin Systems. My particular version (2.0.x) isn't the most sprightly of apps, but it does a complete job of uninstalling, which is what it's supposed to do
