when i turn on mu computer is like trying to turn on
and shut down imedietly

Common problem on older iMacs. It is usually related with
the video card or built-in monitor (usually the flyback
transformer on the monitor). Not really worth the repair costs. You can salvage your hard drive so your data won't be lost.
