When you put a cd in, it takes a little while before it's recognized. If you imported it into I tunes library, open I tunes and click on the music tab in the upper left hand corner. From the drop down menu, you should see the album listed. Click it to play it. If you don't want to go through this ritual every time you insert a cd, while in I tunes, move your cursor up to the top of the screen and choose I tunes / preferences. You can then specify how a cd is used. You can select play when inserted if you don't want the option to copy it to your I tunes library. Also look at the help section in I tunes. It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.
