Trouble Writing To CD-RWs!

Hey I’m having trouble with my LaCie CD-RW drive. I have it installed on a MAC G3 OS 9.1. I have no problem recording data on CD-R disks. WORKS GREAT! However, whenever I try to record to CD-RW it closes the session, seals the disk--whatever, and I can’t record anything else on it! Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I tried to find a LaCie support site but it got sort of confusing. I know if I call them they probably won’t be as helpful as the folks on this forum! THANKS!

Actually, my first suggestion would be to call them.

It's my understanding that you have to erase the CDRW disk each time before you write to it. When you write your session, no matter how much info, the disk is locked as if it were a CDR. But you can erase it and start anew.
