Trouble installing 10.4.2 download

I have a 1.8 GHz Power PC G5 1.5 GB DDR SDRAM I installed 10.4 Tiger from disks. I now need 10.9 to run a web cam. I'm trying to work up to 10.9 through upgrades on the web. I can't get 10.4.2 download to install. It says I don't have enough disk space, but I have more than enough. Please help!

10.9 (doesn't exist..yet)? or 10.4.9? I'm confused. Do you have 2 hard drives in the G5? Are you selecting the right one? the one with the OS?
